Are You Dying to Mount a Camera to Your Dog and Film Your Walks Together?

Cameras you can mount on your body are all the rage. Surfers film themselves surfing, skiers film themselves skiing, dogs film themselves chasing sticks, chefs film themselves eating hambur — wait, dogs film themselves chasing sticks?

Indeed. Last April, Sony released the named-by-committee AKA-DM1, a harness to attach the Sony Action Cam to a dog, filling a void in market that existed only in the minds of electronics PR men drifting off to sleep after consuming cold medicine. Alas, it was only available in Japan, leading to a slew of “only available in Japan” stories from tech publications, who just love it when electronics are only available in Japan.
