Indeed. Last April, Sony released the named-by-committee AKA-DM1, a harness to attach the Sony Action Cam to a dog, filling a void in market that existed only in the minds of electronics PR men drifting off to sleep after consuming cold medicine. Alas, it was only available in Japan, leading to a slew of “only available in Japan” stories from tech publications, who just love it when electronics are only available in Japan.
